GMP ISO 22716:2007

Definition, Role, Structure & Principles, Implementation

The scope of the presentation is to ensure a thorough understanding of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) benefits and to contribute in the GMP training of personnel at cosmetic production plants. Manufacturing of cosmetics is linked to GMP and the requirements are coded under the ISO 22716 international standard. The standard provides guidance for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products. The manufacturing practices are reviewed and the standard requirements are presented. The standard clauses are commented with reference to examples from the day to day practice.
